search about November 2003. A few months later I spotted one in Bethesda MD, that interested me, and contacted the ECZA. This was a couple months before I had found tt.net and I hoped the ECZA could recommend someone to do an inspection. Bernie emailed me and, without being asked or any discussion of a fee, he volunteered to do the inspection. Although I never saw the car, it was thousands of miles away and not in very good condition, it seemed like he knew what he was doing and that he did a thorough a job. I did kind of wonder, however, how much he really knew about our cars. Well, after hanging around this forum for over a year now you can imagine how much respect I've gained for Bernie's expertise, service and helpfulness. I feel lucky to have met him then and am sure glad he's a regular fixture here now. And, of course, along with everyone else I'd like to take this opportunity to wish YB a great Bday
